(1-8) 'Explanation of the Eight Plates, relative to the construction of the Barracks in the West Indies. Upon the system originated by Lieut Colonel Sir Charles F. Smith... 11 May 1825': notes on the drawings at MPH 1/192/10-18. (9) Letter of 9 June 1826 to Lt Col Ellicombe from H R Brandreth, Lt RE, describing errors in the drawings. (10-18). Nine sheets (plate 1 is on two sheets) of model plans, elevations and sections of barracks for 200 men in the West Indies: including detailed drawings of girders, joists, ironwork etc. (10-17) each 56 cm x 76 cm; (18) 54.5 cm x 97.5 cm. Lithographed by B R Baker, A Ducôté and B. King. Each sheet signed by Henry R Brandreth, Lt RE.
