Three sheets are numbered on the face: 2, 3, 4. The fourth sheet is unnumbered and sewn between the sheets numbered 2 and 3. This fourth sheet is a stray from MPH 1/497 (formerly WO 78/1681), whence it had been noted as missing since June 1955. The four sheets have now been numbered seriatim 1-4 on the dorse: they are so identified in Maps and Plans in the Public Record Office: I. British Isles, c.1410-1860 (London, 1967).
