Sketch map of the island of St Kitts (St Christopher), West Indies, showing the situations of the Colonial forts transferred to the Ordnance. Reference table to forts. Scale: 3.5 inches to 3 miles. Compass indicator. Nine plans of individual forts, with measurements, are to the right of the main plan. Three sheets joined. To accompany letter of 26 January 1852 from Charles. C Chesney, Lt, Resident Engineer, to the CRE, and letter of 25 March 1852 from W C Ward, Col CRE, to the Inspector General of Fortifications.
