Nine sheets of plans, sections etc of defences at Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope: (1) Craig's Tower and Battery; (2) Centre Redoubt; (3) Hollands Redoubt as repaired in 1796 by order of Maj Gen Craig; (4) Groote Mouille Battery; (5) Rogge Bay Battery; (6, 7) Kyk in de Pot Battery; (8, 9) Battery Amsterdam van Boven te Zien, copied from Dutch plans. Signed by William Kersteman, Maj CRE. [?c. 1800]: Kersteman's majority was effective from January 1800; Cape Town was held by the British between 1795 and 1802.
