Four sheets of plans of barracks at St Ann's, Barbados. (1) Sheet A: plan, elevation and section of a stone barrack proposed to be erected near St Ann's Castle, Barbados, to accommodate 200 men of the Royal Artillery. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet. (2) Sheet B no 1: elevation and ground floor plan of barracks proposed to be erected near St Ann's Castle, Barbados, to accommodate officers of the Royal Artillery. Scale: 1 inch to 6 feet 6 inches. (3) Sheet B no 2: sections and upper floor plan of barracks proposed to be erected near St Ann's Castle, Barbados, to accommodate officers of the Royal Artillery. Scale: 1 inch to 6 feet 6 inches. (1)-(3) Signed by Charles Shipley, Lt Col CRE West Indies, Barbados, 16 February 1803. (4) Plan and elevation of a barrack proposed to be erected on Government ground near St Ann's Castle, Barbados, for the men of the Royal Artillery. Scale: 1 inch to 5 feet. Signed by Charles Shipley, Lt Col CRE West Indies, Martinique, 23 May 1801. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 42.2 cm x 62.7 cm; (2) 46 cm x 59.2 cm; (3) 47 cm x 58.4 cm; (4) 47.8 cm x 58.4 cm.
