In Guernsey: Hougue à la Perre; Mont Arrivé Battery; Mount Crevet Tower and Battery; Vale Castle; Fort Doyle; Fort le Marchant; Fort Pembroke; L'Ancresse Bay (right battery); Vardes Tower; Rousse Battery and Tower; Grand Roque Battery; Fort Houmette; Vazon Bay (right centre battery); Le Croque Point Battery; Fort Saumarez; Rocquaine Castle or Fort Grey; Fort Pézerie; St. Clear's Battery, Petit Bot Bay; Saints Bay (right battery); Bec du Nez Battery; Fermain Point (centre battery); Fermain Point Battery; and Fort George. In Alderney: Longy lines (showing batteries); Le Mesurier's Battery; Canards [Le Quenard] Point Battery; Rings Battery; Château à l'Etoc Battery; Rozel Battery; Braye Battery; Gros Nez Battery; Roque Tourgis Battery; Clonque Battery. All drawn by G F Mann, Lt RE, 1842, to illustrate report by Col Cardew and Lt Col Moody, RE, on the defences of Guernsey and Alderney.
