5 items extracted from WO 55/1549/1. Plans and notes relating to Bantry and Cork harbours, County Cork, Ireland. Detailed descriptions are given at item level.
The sheets were originally folded, but during conservation work, the sheets were unfolded and flattened, presumably to make the plans of Cork easier to read. The pencilled WO 55 subnumbers did not assign a separate reference either to each original folio nor to each sheet as flattened: the resultant order of numeration was as follows: 1, 2/A, 2/B, 2, 3, 4. As a conquence of this folios 2/B and 2 became respectively the face and dorse of the same sheet. In 2001, the MPH 1 reference and item numbers were pencilled on the dorse of each sheet: it is these item numbers which are here used.
