Description

Lower Canada, New Brunswick. 'Sketch shewing the Line of Road by which the Mail passes from Fredericton to Quebec Shewing the different Stage Houses on said Road'. Map showing line of road following the course of the River St John as far as Little Falls. Table of stages and distances. Scale: 1 inch to 6 miles. Compass indicator. Small extension at upper left corner. Lithographed and printed at the Topographical Department, War Office. MS additions show places along the route for halting and lunching during the transport of troops to Canada during the Trent incident.
