States with parts of the Adjacent Country... to accompany a report of the investigation of that Country which... Viscount Palmerston... directed to be made... 1839'. Sections in side margins. Constructed by direction of Richard L Mudge and G W Featherstonhaugh. (Signed) J D Featherstonhaugh, Secretary and Draughtsman to the Commissioner. In upper margin: 'Reduced copy of Map A'. Engraved by James Wyld, Charing Cross East, London. Coloured MS additions show British and American claims and the Award made by the King of Holland.
