Description (What the record is about)

Reverted to WO 78/1037.
In August 1929, the contents of WO 78/1037 were made up into seven portfolios for conservation reasons and were given the references MPH 123A, MPH 123B, MPH 123C, MPH 123D (three portfolios) and MPH 123E. In November 1955, part B was transferred to MPHH 7 and part D I was transferred to MPHH 8. Following further conservation work in November 1993, the whole accumulation reverted to the original reference and the items were renumbered in a single sequence.
Note that the current seven portfolios do not, for the most part, correspond straightforwardly to the seven portfolios that existed between 1929 and 1993: part A is now in WO 78/1037 part 1; part B is now in WO 78/1037 parts 2-3; parts C and D I are now in WO 78/1037 part 4; part D II is now in WO 78/1037 parts 4-5; part D III is now in WO 78/1037 parts 6-7; and part E is now in WO 78/1037 part 7.
