Channel Islands: Guernsey. North eastern quarter of the Topographical Survey of Guernsey. Scale: 1 inch to 300 yards. Compass star. Surveyed by order of the Duke of Richmond, Master General of the Ordnance by William Gardner and others, 1787; engraved by J Warner, 1795. For the initial MS 'foul plans' and an engraved version of the Topographical Survey see MPHH 1/30; for coloured MS fair copy and engraved proof versions with MS colouring see MR 1/1139; and for a full set of final engraved maps see WO 78/5547.
