(2) 'N o 2': plan of Tipner and Stampshaw Points. (3) Outline plan of Gosport Weevil and Priddy's Hard fortifications. Inset: Charles Fort, Gosport; scale: 1 inch to 50 feet. Plan number missing. (4) 'N o 1': plan of Portsmouth and dock fortifications. Compass indicator. Reference table. Scales: (1) 1 inch to 400 feet; (2)-(4) 1 inch to 200 feet. All annotated: 'to accompany Major General Evelegh's Report to General Morse [Inspector General of Fortifications] dated 31 st March 1811'; signed John Evelegh, Commanding Royal Engineer.
