Hampshire: Portsea. 'A Plan of Hilsea Lines and the Ground in their Rear ...'. Title in ornate cartouche. Reference table. Approximate scale:1 inch to 5 chains [1:3960]. Compass star. Surveyed by Richard Searle, Royal Military Surveyor and Draughtsman, by order of Lieutenant General Morse, Inspector General of Fortifications, 1805. Copied by J Anderson, Royal Military Surveyor and Draughtsman, 1807. MS pencil additions show Ordnance boundary.
