Kent: Sheerness. Two plans. (1) Plan of a barracks intended to provide accommodation for a complete battalion of 1000 men. (2) Similar plan showing improved arrangement of the buildings. Scales: (1) 1 inch to 100 feet; (2) 1 inch to 25 feet. By Captain R Thomas and Lieutenant C Oldershaw, Royal Engineers, at Royal Engineers Department Sheerness, 1823. Annotated: 'To accompany a Report to General Mann dated 20 th June 1823'. Dimensions: (1) 43.2 cm x 22.4 cm; (2) 104.4 cm x 66.5 cm.
