Cape Colony: Cape Town (now in Cape Province, Republic of South Africa). '... Table Bay Record Plan Three Anchor Bay Battery Site Plan': showing batteries and adjacent streets and property. Reference note on seaward approaches to the battery and difficulties in landing. Approximate scale: 1 inch to 10 Cape Rood [1:1478]. Compass indicator. Drawn by Sapper J Trussler, Royal Engineers, 15 May 1891. Signed by Captain H H Massy, Royal Engineers, Officer in Charge Table Bay Defence Works, 27 May 1891; and Colonel G Philips, Commanding Royal Engineer, South Africa, 17 June 1891. MS additions. Overlay shows land handed back to the Colony for the railway, 1894; initialled C E I, 2 March 1894.
