Copied by Company Sergeant Major C Barnard, Foreman of Works, Royal Engineers, 11 January 1899; from a tracing signed by Captain F E Warburton, Royal Engineers, 14 June 1869. Completed and signed by C P Rogers, A S D O, for Lieutenant Colonel Commanding Royal Engineer Barbados, on leave, 14 January and 4 February 1899. Inset: Plan of Ricketts Battery; scale: 1 inch to 20 feet. Plan shows the land transferred in 1898 in accordance with War Office letters of 1896 and referred to in the letter from the General Officer Commanding Barbados to the Under Secretary of State for War, 23 December 1898.
