John's in Newfoundland as Proposed by Lieu t Robert Pringle Chief Engineer'.] Compass indicator. Overlay plan of the battery. The title is missing on this original plan. (12) Copy of (11) by F Gould, 16 October 1775. (1)-(5) Sections and elevations of the tower, battery and coastal slope; (2) and (5) by John Potter, [?1774]; (4) by James Evans, 26 February 1774. (6)-(10) Duplicates of (1)-(5); (8) by John Potter. All at scale: 1 inch to 25 feet. Dimensions: (1) and (6) 34 cm x 72 cm; (2) and (8) 40 cm x 52 cm; (3) and (7) 40 cm x 54 cm; (4) and (9) 30.5 cm x 71.5 cm; (5) and (10) 37 cm x 96 cm; (11) 100.3 cm x 73.7 cm; (12) 116.8 cm x 74.7 cm.
