Newfoundland (now part of Canada): St John's. Plans and sections of batteries, showing improvements. Plan and Sections of (1) Fredericks Battery; (2) Chain Battery. (3) Sections of Amherst Battery. (4) Plan of Amherst Battery. Scales: 1 inch to 20 feet. Compass indicators. All by T G W Eaststaff, Royal Military Surveyor and Draughtsman; signed by Lieutenant Colonel E W Durnford, RE, 17 October 1814. Dimensions: (1) 69.1 cm x 51.8 cm; (2) 61 cm x 46.2 cm; (3) 44.7 cm x 70.6 cm; (4) 65 cm x 95.3 cm. These drawings are unusual for their heavy shading and margins in dark brown or green.
