Description

'Laurie's Plan of London, Westminster and Southwark, Trigonometrically Surveyed by John Outhett 1848'. Scale: 4 inches to 1 mile. Based on the St Pauls Meridian and Parallel. Also shows the Greenwich Meridian and along the top border minutes of time westwards from it. Published by Richard Holmes Laurie, 53 Fleet Street. MS additions show key areas and properties ringed in red. Endorsed: 'Sir J. Burgoyne with reference to proposed defences', 1849.
