Plan of Mr. Rees House': ground and first floor plans showing partitions to be removed, new work and proposed appropriations; with site plan. Reference tables. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet. Compass indicator. Signed by Colonel G Philips, Commanding RE South Africa, 20 January 1886. The alterations were to make the house, named on the site plan as 'The Palace', suitable accommodation for officers and men.
