Description

'Somersetshire Survey'd and Protracted by M r. Strachey': map showing the genealogical history of over 300 family seats in the county. Reference tables and arms of towns and noblemen of the county. Approximate scale: 1 inch to 1500 yards [1:54,000]. Inset plans of (a) Bath, (b) Wells and (c) Ilchester; scales: (a) 1 inch to 60 yards [1:2160]; (b) 1 inch to 100 yards [1:3600]; (c) 1 inch to 70 paces [or 350 feet, 1:4200].
