Description

Cornwall and Devon. (1) Plan of Plymouth Sound, Hamoaze Water, St Johns Lake and Catt Water; showing the estuary, inlets and settlements including Plymouth, Hamoaze, Plymstock, Brixton, Wembury, Maker, Anthony and Millbrook. Scale: 1 inch to 800 feet. Compass indicator. Copy by F Gould, 20 September 1775. (2), (5) and (6) Undated, unsigned versions. (3) Copy by William Test, [?late 18th century]. (4) Similar version, possibly original, [?1738]; endorsed: Colonel Desmaretz.
