Channel Islands. Plan of the island of Guernsey: showing coastal detail, anchorages, rivers, settlements, roads and defences. Approximate scale: 1 inch to 632 yards. Compass indicator. Dedicated to the Duke of Richmond, Master General of the Ordnance, by Lieutenant John Finlay, 83rd (Royal Glasgow Volunteers) Regiment of Foot. This Regiment was stationed in the Channel Islands from 1781, went to New York and was disbanded in 1783.
