Ireland: Dublin. Composite map of 4 parts of engraved Ordnance Survey 1:1056 Dublin [town map] sheets: originally surveyed, 1838-1847; engraved, 1840-1847; revised, 1864; engraved, 1866-1869. Scale: 5 feet to 1 statute mile. Signed by Colonel W D Marsh, Commanding RE in Ireland, 4 February 1887, on the attached scale bar [presumed to have been attached at time of compilation]. MS additions show Portobello Barracks, the boundary of additional land purchased by the War Department and an oil store. Annotated: Oil store approved 29 August 1900.
