Russia (now Republic of Crimea, Ukraine). 'Seat of War in the Krimea [Third edition] ...': map showing roads, towns; relief indicated by hachures. Also shows disposition of forces around Sevastopol (Sebastopol). Reference table to English, French, Turkish and Russian camps and defence works. Approximate scales: Plan and section: 6 inches to 4 miles [1:42,240]; location map: 1 inch to 100 miles [1:6,336,000]. Insets: (1) Black Sea location map. (2) Section of the railway. Compass indicators. Original map compiled and drawn by W Lowrie. Lithographed by Malby & Son. Published at the Hydrographic Office, Admiralty, 21 June 1855.
