Barbados. (1) Plan of Ricketts Battery, Carlisle Bay. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. Compass indicator. Endorsed: 1811. (2) A sketch plan of Carlisle Bay and the adjacent coast; showing range of Ricketts and Beckwiths Batteries, a proposed mortar Battery and ruins. Scale: 1 inch to 500 feet. Endorsed: 'to accompany estimate for 1811'. Both by Edmund Burman, Royal Military Surveyor and Draughtsman, February 1811; and signed by Brigadier General Charles Shipley, Commanding RE in West Indies. Dimensions: (1) 49.5 cm x 36.8 cm (2) 121.9 cm x 71.1 cm.
