Ordnance Survey six-inch County Series sheets Essex [LXIX SE,LXX SW, LXXVIII NE, LXXVIII SE, LXXIX NW, LXXIX SW, LXXXVI NE and LXXXVII NW] joined to show area between Chingford, West Ham and Romford. Reference table to administrative boundaries, sites of antiquities, relief and drainage, trigonometric stations etc. Sheet LXXXVI NE: surveyed 1861-1870; revised 1913-1915 (Essex) and 1913-1914 (London); levelling revised 1895 and 1915; boundaries revised 1919; reprinted 1924. Title added in MS: 'Ilford Urban District. Charter of Incorporation Scheme. Boundary of Proposed Borough'. Coloured MS additions show proposed boundary. Signed by H Shaw, Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers, Engineer & Surveyor, Town Hall, Ilford, 27 January 1926.
