(1) Cover, originally containing (2), bearing the title 'Application for Charter of Incorporation of the Urban District of Hoylake and West Kirby in the County of Cheshire. Map shewing the Urban District in relation to surrounding areas'. (2) Ordnance Survey County Series sheets Cheshire VI SW, VI SE, VII NW, VII NE (and Lancashire parts of sheets XCIX and CVI), VII SE, VII SW, XII NW, XII NE, XII SW, XII SE, XIII NW, XIII NE, XIII SW and XIII SE, joined, then dissected for folding into cover. Heliozincographed and published by the Director General, Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton. Sheets VII NW and VII NE 1913 edition. Sheet XII SW surveyed 1870-1871; Cheshire revised 1908, Flintshire revised 1910. Sheets XII SE and XIII SW surveyed 1871, revised 1908-1909, reprinted 1924. Sheet XIII SE surveyed 1848 (Lancashire) and 1871-1874 (Cheshire); revised 1906 (Lancashire) and 1908-1909 (Cheshire); reprinted 1925. Coloured MS additions show area proposed to be incorporated.
