Description

1 item, numbered 18, (originally accompanying a letter by J Oldfield, 26 May 1836) extracted from WO 44/75. Channel Islands: Jersey: Saint Martin's parish. 'Sketch of Anne Port, showing the plot of land on which it is intended to build the Tower... and the proposed road leading to it': sheet bearing a plan and section. Scale: 1 inch to 300 feet [1:3,600] (plan); 1 inch to 40 feet [1:480] (section). Compass indicator. Signed by Lieutenant C Oldershaw, Royal Engineers, and by J Oldfield; both signatures dated 26 May 1836.
