1 item, numbered 5, (originally illustrating a copy of a report by C A Hartley, Engineer-in-Chief, 31 January 1859), extracted from FO 78/3215. Ottoman Empire: Dobrogea (or Dobruja, now in Romania and Bulgaria): Danube Delta: Saint George (Sfântu Gheorghe) mouth. Outline plan, showing 3 alternative canal construction projects being considered by the European Commission of the Danube. Reference table and notes. Compass indicator. Traced by E J Standen, 1 February, 1859. Inset: enlarged plan of part of the area; scale: 1 inch to about 42 feet.
