1 item, numbered 14, (originally accompanying a letter from Lieutenant Colonel Maunsell to Lieutenant Colonel Gribben, 29 October 1917) extracted from WO 106/63. South-West Asia. Map comprising six joined sheets, together covering the area between Mus and Lake Van (both now in Turkey), Mosul (Al Mawsil; now in Iraq) and Khatuniya (now in Syria), showing roads, railways, waterways, contours, and place names. Coloured MS additions show pasturages, the distribution of native peoples, and Turkish [Ottoman] lines of communication. Signed by Lieutenant Colonel F R Maunsell, 29 October 1917. A printed scale bar is affixed to the face of the map. Endorsed with the title: 'Eastern Turkey in Asia. 29.10.17'.
