2 items, numbered (7) and (13), extracted from ADM 1/5980. HMS Warrior. 2 sheets of plans and elevations of hydraulic steering apparatus as proposed by Captain Inglefield RN. Scales: (7) no scale shown; (13) 1 inch to 4 feet. Signed by (7) Andrew Murray and (13) E A Inglefield, Captain RN, 23 December 1865; (13) also initialled 'A.M.' [Andrew Murray]. Originally accompanying letters dated (7) 1 March 1866 and (13) 5 January 1866 from Andrew Murray, Chief Engineer and Inspector of Machinery Portsmouth Yard, to (7) the Controller of the Navy and (13) the Admiral Superintendent. Dimensions of sheets: (7) 72 cm x 134 cm; (13) 85 cm x 140 cm.
