1 item extracted from FO 195/560. Eastern Europe: Danube Delta. 'Survey of the mouth of the Sulina Branch of the Danube. Made under the direction of C. Hartley Esqre Engineer in chief to the European Commission. Apr. 1857': map (of territory now in Romania). Reference table to projected works. Scale: 1 inch to 200 feet. Compass indicator. Originally enclosed in a copy of a despatch of 14 August 1857 from [Major J] Stokes to Clarendon, which was sent by Stokes to Stratford de Redcliffe [Canning] on 15 August 1857.
