Minorca (Menorca, now part of Spain). Map of the island, showing roads, rivers, the nature of the terrain, and named settlements. Reference table. Border and cartouche. Scale: 1 inch to 1 mile. Decorative compass indicator. Engraved by Francis Aegidius Assiotti; printed by R Sayer and J Bennett; dated 1 February 1780; dedicated to the Right Honourable John, [first] Earl Spencer and Viscount Althorp. Two insets: (i) chart of the entrance to the Mediterranean Sea; scale: 1 inch to about 22.75 miles. (ii) Plan of the fortifications of Saint Phillip (San Felipe); scale: 1 inch to 800 feet [1:9,600].
