Berkshire: Windsor. 14 sheets. (14) Map, copied in 1833 by C T Christian from a plan by H Walker and with MS and coloured, MS additions. The map, of Windsor Great and Little Parks shows the allotments belonging to the Crown in Windsor Forest. The parishes of Windsor, Bray, Winkfield and Sunninghill with roads, buildings and names of owners of adjacent land are also shown. An inset shows parts of the parishes of Sandhurst, Easthampstead, Winkfield and Frimley (Surrey) with allotments. Scale: 1 inch to 14 chains. Compass indicator. (1)-(13) Book of reference (in leather covers) to cultivation and acreage including corrections dated February 1842. An MS note on the inside cover reads 'W. Menzies Esqre., Parkside, Englefield Green, Windsor Gt. Park, near Staines... '.
