A Sharrer Esq., Upper Shire District Area 68,582 Acres': map showing the Shire River and its tributaries, place names, and roads. Scale: 2 inches to 1 mile [1:31,680]. Compass indicator. Surveyed and drawn by the British Central Africa Protectorate Survey Department, 1899. Signed: W Anderson, Chief Surveyor. (2) A less detailed map of the same area shown in item 1, and at a smaller scale. Surveyed by O L Beringer; 'Berringer's plan enlarged and traced by the British Central Africa Protectorate Survey Department'. Dimensions: (1) 138 cm x 111 cm; (2) 74 cm x 130 cm.
