County Durham: River Wear. Plan, traced from an original dated 23 February 1870, showing a proposed new quay line for the improvement of navigation from Hylton to Tile Quay, in that part of the river flowing through Monkwearmouth and Bishop Wearmouth. Names of adjacent owners are also shown. Scale: 1 inch to 210 feet. Assent by the Board of Trade, dated 21 March 1870, is written on the plan.
