Essex: Hainault Forest. Map of the King's Forest or King's Wood in the parishes of Barking and Dagenham (now in the London Borough of Barking) showing waste lands within the Forest. Enclosures, acreage, field names and roads are also shown. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 9 chains. Compass indicator. Signed by Thomas Thurston under the Act for Disafforesting the Forest of Hainault, 1851 (14-15 Victoria c.43). Lithographed by Standidge and Co. MS additions of 1860 show Crown property, land leased and common lands. Annotated as accompanying a report of April 1860 from Mr Gore to the Treasury.
