Kent: Isle of Sheppey: Sheerness. 4 sheets of drawings of proposed Ordnance buildings: (1) sections through a storehouse roof; (2) plan and elevation of a guard house; (3) plan, elevation and section of a storehouse and offices; (4) plan, elevation and sections of a market. Scale: (1) 1 inch to 1 foot; (2) 1 inch to 4 feet [1:48]; (3) 1 inch to 6 feet [1:72]; (4) 1 inch to 4 feet (plan and elevation); 1 inch to 2 feet [1:24] (sections). Item (1) signed by Captain Robert Thomson, Commanding Royal Engineer, 4 April 1828. Items |(2-4) copied from original drawings signed by Captain Thomson: (2) 5 January 1828, (3-4) 21 December 1827; (2-3) copied by [Samuel] B Howlett, Inspector General's Office, 10 May 1828; (4) copied by J Nightingale, 13 May 1828.
