An Actual Topographical Survey of Sussex ...': map, on four joined sheets, together covering the area between Chichester Harbour and Winchelsea, and as far north as Heathfield; showing named parishes, tithings, hamlets and farms; also showing soundings in fathoms. Reference table. Scale: 2 inches to about 1 mile. Compass star. Surveyed by [Thomas] Yeakell and [William] Gardner; engraved by Mr Yeakell; published 1778-1783. Inset: continuation eastward, showing Rye. MS additions, coloured, show the sites of batteries and martello towers; [additions by Captain Gossett, 1812].
