Channel Islands: Alderney. 'Plan of the Fortified Coast of Alderney': map of the northern coast of the island, and territory as far inland as the town [i.e. Saint Anne]. Scale: 1 inch to 60 yards. Compass indicator; south at the top. Several small overlays, showing named batteries and defence lines, are affixed to the face of the map. Signed by John Mackelcan, Commanding Royal Engineer, Guernsey, 11 January 1802.
