South-east England. 7 sheets of the Ordnance Survey one-inch Old Series England and Wales joined: I [NE, NW, SE, SW], [VI], VII and [VIII], together comprising a map of the area between Ilmer in Buckinghamshire, Little Totham in Essex, High Holden in Kent and Kingsley in Hampshire. Piano-key border. Scale: 1 inch to 1 mile. Engraved by Benjamin Baker and assistants; writing by Ebenezer Bourne; produced under the direction of Colonel Mudge, Tower of London; [sheet VI] published 1 January 1819; [revised, with railways added, to ?c1857]. MS additions show additional, named railway lines. Endorsed in MS with the title: 'London & Environs'.
