Hampshire. 'Map of the Parish of Alverstoke in the County of Hants'. Scale: 1 inch to about 400 feet. Compass star. Reduced from a first-class tithe map; surveyed and lithographed by Lewis and Walker, Southampton. Coloured MS additions show Ordnance land and buildings, and cuttings, embankments and 100-yard intervals along the railway line; MS reference notes. Further, pencilled additions show landowners' names, acreages, etc, for certain land lots; pencilled reference notes.. MS note, in pencil, concerning the railway line. Endorsed: 'Gosport & Parish of Alverstoke Colonel Lewis, 27th April 1847'.
