'Plan of the Country in the Vicinity of Northfleet and Greenhithe shewing the site of the proposed Grand Naval Arsenal and the positions it would be necessary to occupy with works for its defence': two copies of a map of the area between Stifford, Gravesend and Darenth Wood; also showing spot heights. Scale: 1 inch to 293 yards. Compass indicator. Item (1) signed by Lieutenant General Mann, 23 March 1811. Dimensions: (1) 98 cm x 85 cm; (2) 98 cm x 93.5 cm. Originally accompanying a Royal Engineers' committee report dated 23 March 1811; the report is not filed on this roll.
