Kent: Isle of Sheppey: Sheerness. Two copies of a map showing a proposed exchange of buildings between the Ordnance and the Navy. Reference tables to both items. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Compass indicator to each item. Item (2) [the original map] amended and corrected to September 1816 from information supplied by Colonel Pilkington. Item (1) [copied from item (2); dated 17 September 1813; amended and corrected to June 1828 from information suppplied by Captain Thompson. Further, pencilled, amendments to item (2). Two small overlays, showing additional buildings, are affixed to the face of item (1). Dimensions: (1) 112 cm x 122 cm; (2) 108.5 cm x 113 cm. Notes on both sheets refer to a report dated 13 September 1813 and correspondence of 1813-1828 from Colonel Pilkington, Lieutenant General Mann, Captain Thompson and others; neither the report nor the letters are filed on the roll.
