(1-2, 5-7) Five maps copied from second class [tithe] maps, also showing Ordnance and War Office lands and fortifications: (1) Wymering parish; (2, 5, 7) Portsea parish, on three separate sheets; (6) Widley parish. (3-4) Map on two separate sheets, showing alterations to the [tithe] apportionment in Wymering. Scale: (1, 3-4) 1 inch to 6 chains [1:4,752]; (2, 5, 7) 1 inch to 3 chains [1:2,376]; (6) 1 inch to 4 chains [1:3,168]. Compass indicators to items (1-2, 5-7). Each item endorsed in MS with the name of Colonel Dawson and the date 9 February 1857. Dimensions: (1) 104 cm x 80.5 cm; (2, 5, 7) each about 150 cm x 104 cm; (3) 27 cm x 41 cm; (4) 28 cm x 41 cm; (6) 65 cm x 43.5 cm.
