A note on each items states that it has been corrected in accordance with an order of the Director of Works dated November 1864; these notes by Thomas Coad, Commanding Royal Engineer, 21 April 1865. Originally accompanying a letter from W E D Broughton to the Director of Works, 12 October 1865; the letter is not preserved on this roll.
