(3) 'Map of the Colony of the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa': two sheets of a map on multiple sheets, joined to form a map of the area (now in Western Cape province, South Africa) between the Cape and Saldanha Bay. Scale: 1 inch to about 1 mile. Lithographed by Stanford's Geographical Establishment. A note on the dorse, in MS, states that this map was received [by the War Office] from the Colonial Office in 1879. (1-2) Another copy of the same map, on two separate sheets.
