Kent. Map, on two joined sheets, of Rochester, Chatham and the surrounding area, as far north as Cliffe, as far west as Gillingham and as far south-east as Lower Halling. Scale: 6 inches to 1 mile. [?]Produced as part of the survey for the Ordnance Survey six-inch County Series sheets Kent XI and XIX. Minor pencilled amendments. A small sheet extending the map as far south as Blue Bell Hill is affixed to the lower edge. Endorsed: 'Chatham and Environs - Compiled from plans of the candidates and 1 inch Ordce. Survey... 15 July 1860'.
