Wales: Pembrokeshire. Ordnance Survey one-inch Old Series England and Wales sheet [XL] and parts of sheets [XXXVII, XXXVIII, XLI, LVII and LVIII] joined. Piano-key border. Scale: 1 inch to 1 mile. [Sheet XXXVIII engraved at the Tower of London; outline and writing by J W Froggett, hills by R Tovey, water by B Baker; published by Colonel T F Colby, 18 January 1839]. MS additions mark the boundary of Pembrokeshire with Carmathenshire and Cardiganshire (now Ceredigion), and divide the map into 44 numbered rectangles; MS reference note. Initialled: B V S, 26 May 1859. Endorsed in MS: 'Pembroke - Index Map to enlarged Ordnance Survey of the County ...'.
